Good Afternoon NK Families,
Please see the linked letter, which provides an update and information on the school district's plan to study how technology is used throughout our district and how we can ensure that it is being used effectively across all grade levels in support of the Vision of the Learner.
Also linked are reading and math materials for elementary students that require no technology. This summer, elementary students will not be taking school Chromebooks home. They may practice their skills by accessing these resources over the summer.
I thank you for your continued support and collaboration, and I look forward to working with you as we make thoughtful and informed decisions together for the benefit of student learning and well-being.
Sincerely,
Rob Mezzanotte
Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning

The NKSD Office of Family and Learning is collecting monetary donations to help support the North Kingstown School Department's Blessing in a Backpack Program.

Davisville Academy and Early Learning Center will be hosting a Food Drive throughout the months of November and December. We will be collecting non-perishable food items such as boxes of pasta or rice, canned vegetables and fruit, peanut butter, granola bars, cans of soup/broth, etc., which can be dropped off in the collection boxes located in the front office foyer.
Families are invited to pick up food items in the gymnasium at Davisville Academy and ELC on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 3:30–5:00 PM, or while supplies last.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
Warm regards,
